"I can't say enough good things about…"
I can't say enough good things about the new Helly Hansen CSA footwear I purchased recently. I was fighting really bad foot pain and sciatica nerve pain. After purchasing and wearing them at work my foot pain and sciatica pain has vanished. This is my second pair of Helly Hansen CSA footwear and it will not be the last. If I could afford it I would wear Helly Hansen footwear on my off days. Thank you Helly Hansen!

"Faulty zipper. Great online support!"
I bought an HH jacket at a large HH retailer here in Sidney Canada. Like others on this experience site the zipper was faulty.The zipper broke less than 6 months after purchase. The retailer I bought it from told me they only warranty HH for 90 days and offered no help. Last time I shop there.
After getting on your website I had problems creating an account. Using the contact us I relayed my problem then received a response from Joe. He set up my account but instead of passing me off he shepherded my complaint through your customer care dept.
After a couple of emails all handled very promptly by Joe I was offered a credit for the coat with the faulty zipper. A much better experience than offered by the retail store here in Sidney Canada.
Thank you Joe for your great customer care and your prompt responses to my emails.

"Great customer service"
Great customer service. My new ski jacket had to be cleaned when a ski lift dropped some grease on it. The fill in the back of the jacket got all lumpy in the wash. I contacted HH on line customer service and after sending them some pictures I was quickly informed that the jacket was under warranty and a store credit was issued for the replacement cost of the jacket. I am very pleased with the service I received and the resulting credit that I now have.

"Service quality no less than excellent!"
Last year I had purchased my first Helly Hanson product. Great parka but ultimately had an issue with the zipper. After conversing with a representative (Juni), they were able to help resolve my issue by offering a comparable credit with their online shop.

I was happy with the resolution but more impressed with the service provided. I had Juni assist me through the entire process (start to finsh). At one point a mistake was made on my end, resulting in my credit disappearing like a fart in a wind storm. A simple message to Juni had corrected the issue immediately.

As a result of this experience I had purchased a replacement and an additional jacket knowing that the quality of the customer service rivals that of the actual product.

"Good customer service means a happy customer"
Received a jacket with a zipper that ended up being faulty. Customer service (Cesar) took the time to ask questions and work through the problem ultimately replacing the defect. Happy with the service and product was nice to see them go out of their way to offer solutions to keep their customer happy

"No communication whatsoever"
Placed an order via Paypal. Sent money straight to an individual. Received no invoice detailing the purchase. Called the customer service line and got no answer. Left a note with BBB. Still hanging as of right now.
Now Helly Hansen wants details on my order. I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM SOME BECAUSE I GOT NO INVOICE! They have time for this inquiry yet can't answer the phone?

SERIOUSLY!!! Send in a request? How about don't take my money for doing nothing!?

COME AT THE ASSHAT WHO TOOK MY MONEY!

"Helly Hansen Order Cancelled - Poor Customer Service"
Made online order of a sales item on Thursday fully paid. Got a cancellation on Monday afternoon that there was no stock? Nothing offered in return for wasting my time and holding funds on my credit card. Called in and asked to speak to customer service manager and was hung up on. Called in again and spoke with Sam (Customer Service Manager) to ask if I could switch to a colour that was in stock (or so they say) and they would not allow it! Please do you customer research before you purchase Helly Hansen.

EDIT: April 19th Customer service did listen to my frustration over the cancelled orders. I was assisted in being able to get in-stock gear. I have increased my rating from one to four stars for this. I hope that HH customers going forward will have better options in obtaining HH gear if an order is cancelled due to being out of stock!

"Horrible company to try to place an…"
Horrible company to try to place an order. Their website will not work accurately. Credit Cards will not go through. Customer service tells you to open up a PayPal account. Seriously? Your company can’t take credit cards like every other online business? I had over $400 in merchandise in my cart and they want me to open up a PayPal account to place my order. Good luck staying in business!

Update: Mark Wilderspin, no they can not help. They’ve told me twice now when I call. I have no problem using my card anywhere else online. I called my credit card company and they have no clue what your company is referring to for your security matters.

Awesome customer service

Helly Hansen really stands behind their products. The sweater my husband bought me for Christmas was misshapen after first wash and HH gave me store credit. Very happy that I can replace it with another sweater.

Will definitely purchase HH again!

"Online retail farce"
Ordered a jacket from Helly Hansen. It was sent to the wrong location & subsequently returned to their warehouse (all clearly tracked by DHL). I followed up with Helly Hansen and requested that they reattempt delivery ASAP. They agreed to do this, then subsequently have informed me that the item is now out of stock!

This was a gift that I ordered weeks in advance, and I am now scrambling to replace. Customer service have been slow to deal with and have offered no reasonable solutions for errors which were entirely on their end.

Will never shop or order from them again.

I bought a jacket and the zipper had a broken tooth. I contacted them to get it exchanged and instead they gave me store credit. I am very happy with that and now have a new jacket on the way. I could not be more please with their service as they were quick and professional.

"I have been a long time Helly Hansen…"
I have been a long time Helly Hansen customer- in fact my daughter jokes that I must be sponsored by them with the number of skiing and sailing products I have purchased. I had a problem with a zipper on a ski jacket. Customer service was very helpful and issued a credit for the jacket. I purchased a new Garibaldi 2.0 ski jacket and am very happy! Nice job!
